Heart of Flowers, Okehampton’s much-loved florist, has officially reimagined its business — unveiling a refreshed brand and clear website, making beautiful, locally crafted flowers accessible to everyone.
The rebrand, delivered in collaboration with local creative agency Design Pitch, celebrates the craft and care that owner Lesley Cook and her team pour into every arrangement. The new look introduces a simplified way for customers to find their perfect flowers — whether for weddings, funerals, or those “just because” moments.
“We wanted to make choosing flowers feel simple again,” says Lesley. “Our new website shows people how to pick a look they love from our specialty styles— or create their own.”

Alongside the new online experience, Heart of Flowers has transformed its shopfront. Visitors will now find the space blooming with outdoor plants and flowers, plus a charming floral trike — a new way to buy fresh flowers right from the bike outside the shop.
Inside, the shop continues to offer a relaxed, personal service for every occasion. From tailored wedding packages to heartfelt funeral tributes, Lesley and her head florist bring together years of experience, creativity, and craftsmanship.
The team has also grown, welcoming Lucy, a Duchy College floristry student, who is gaining hands-on experience as she works part-time in the shop.
“It’s about keeping things real,” Lesley adds. “Beautiful flowers, done properly — no fuss, just heart.”
With its new identity and expanded offering, Heart of Flowers is poised to become a go-to destination for anyone in Devon seeking wildly beautiful flowers, crafted with heart.
